Photo of Red 7Red 7 - A safe vegan synthetic pigment, only used in certain shades. We chose this pigment because it is the only matte bright red pigment that is FDA approved for cosmetics and doesn't use crushed bugs nor aluminum. The only natural matte bright red pigment that is FDA approved in cosmetics is called carmine, which is made by crushing female carmine beetles to get a red liquid, which is then placed on an aluminum base. Since we do not want to use crushed bugs or aluminum in our products, we chose a safe synthetic pigment that is placed on a calcium base.

How to Apply

Apply the lipstick straight from the bullet, or after lining your lips with your favourite lip liner. Enjoy your beautiful matte lips!

 

Note: This lipstick does not contain microplastics nor silicones, and we rely on a soft clay to provide the matte finish. Because of this, if you wish to swatch the colours on your hand or arms, please use a light gentle pressure and short "strokes" to avoid breaking the bullet.
